My name is Brandé Faris and I am a San Diego Native who grew up in National City. I have attended City, Mesa, Miramar and Southwestern Community Colleges.
I believe I am uniquely qualified for the position as President of the Associated Student Government because I posses characteristics that are more or less recommended a student have in such a position in office. The Characteristics that I have that I feel are necessary to have are self motivated, organized, caring humanitarian, visionary, optimistic, and academically orientated.
Campus Police were on high alert the week of April 7 in response to a report from the Sacramento Sheriff's Department which stated that a man released April 2 from jail in Sacramento planned to commit a shooting on a San Diego County college campus.
On Saturday, May 3, City College will host the Conference for International Relief Organizations (CIRO).
